Overview

Today’s customers are a demanding lot. They demand high quality food and beverages, served by competent, smiling and attentive waiters in pleasant surroundings. They also expect that the area in which they eat and drink is clean and tidy.

Customers are not impressed if they:

• rest their elbow on a beer-sodden bar mat
• drink from a glass with lipstick on it
• peel their shoes off a sticky bar floor covering or
• drink a flat beer.

Thankfully, as the bar attendant, you can ensure that these problems never occur. When you take the time to clean and prepare the bar area at the beginning and end of service, your customers will feel comfortable in their surroundings.
